Awaken your Wild, Intuitive Self with Holistic Counseling
If you’ve ever dreamed of deeply connecting with the wild, free-spirited part of yourself that calls to you in dreams, you’re not alone. You hear its whispers but how do you answer it? Mysterious yearnings leave you feeling dissatisfied, disenchanted, or heartbroken in ways you can’t explain. The internalized cultural messages we live and breathe encourage us to cut off parts of ourselves to fit in or push ourselves relentlessly to be more or better or worthy, so we domesticate ourselves and neglect our innate wildness. We train to become blunted followers of the masses, rather than intuitive leaders of our own journeys.
How did we get here?
No wonder so many of us feel anxious, stuck, and overwhelmed. Burnout is a natural consequence of ignoring or pushing down our emotions, uncertainty, and weariness. We often set aside our needs and lose our center while trying to cope with an overwhelming, over-stimulating life. We learn to desensitize our emotions which can lead us to feeling like an outsider in our own bodies.
Our innate intelligence knows that our fast-paced, consumer-driven lifestyles are not sustainable but we struggle to find an alternative. We gather survival strategies that seem to help temporarily, perhaps patterns of over-achieving, people-pleasing, or perfectionism. Yet these life-saving tactics take a lot of energy and only help us stay afloat for so long before wearing us down even more.
But a part of us remembers what it’s like to be wild, to embrace our intrinsic, sensitive Self.
How would your life change if you operated from the belief that your natural gifts of intuition, compassion, and sensitivity were exactly what our disheartened world needs most? What might emerge from you if you reignited these strengths to energize and fortify your badass wild self?

Who am I?
I’m Jess Talley, a wild, badass, high-sensory being who channels her gifts into helping others find their authentic path, their best Self. I also feel like an outsider so I might be able to get what you’re going through on some level.
Who are outsiders?
People who feel like they’ve never fit in, believe they must censor themselves, ignore their values, neglect insights relating to what their healthy pace and tempo might be, or wear the proverbial mask to be accepted.
Folks who feel healthier living on the outside of toxic cultural habits and attitudes
Beings who LOVE to be outside as often as possible.
So many of us!
What is our wild self?
The expression of the wild self is unique to each individual. I recognize it as the innate, animal part of Self who understands that, just like all other animals and beings of nature, we have an intrinsic sense of belonging to the natural world and an inherent wisdom that can discern what is healthy and what is harmful. This wild part of us naturally seeks what is meaningful and alive. It cherishes and protects what is best for all beings in this precious world that sustains and shelters us all.
